Nirmala Tandon

Driving force behind IIMPACT’s success since its inception in 2003, Mrs. Nirmala Tandon, has been instrumental in making possible IIMPACT’s dream of providing quality primary education to thousands of out of school girls. An adept social worker, she comes from an education background, education of the deprived girls holds prime importance in her life. An M.A. & B.Ed. from Allahabad University, she gave up her highly successful teaching career of 17 years at Delhi Public School to execute IIMPACT learning centers for the education of out of school girls in over 300 villages across the country. Mrs. Nirmala Tandon supervises overall operations of IIMPACT as its Chief Executive Officer heading a team of social workers involved in day to day planning, implementing and monitoring of the project.

Sandeep J Kapur

Sandeep has been in the corporate world for over twenty five years after completing BA ( Economics) from ST Xavier’s and MBA in marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj both in Mumbai. During his career he has worked with advertising agencies like O&M , FCB Ulka as also in FMCG sector during his association with Marico Industries.He also has had relevant experience in education while working at IL&FS .

He has joined IIMPACT recently as the Chief Operating Officer to assist in it’s daily operations as also in setting up new learning centres .

Urvashi Nair

Urvashi Nair

Trained in Hotel Administration from Cyprus, Urvashi has previously worked as Manager Sales & Marketing at East India Hotels (Oberoi Group) and The Indian Hotels Company (Taj Group). In addition she has acquired relevant experience in the field of education while working as a consultant with Pallavan – a well established pre-school in Gurgaon. Urvashi has an undergraduate degree in English Literature from the U.K. and a Diploma in French from Sorbonne University, Paris.

Having chosen to give her time and full commitment to IIMPACT in a purely voluntary capacity, Urvashi has been with the organisation since 2007. Her special area of focus is resource mobilisation and communication, looking to create new opportunities with donors through media and public relations efforts.
